TOUCHING MY STAR
In verdant fields of youth, we’d lie and gaze
At starry skies, where dreams and magic sway
With laughter, tales, and songs, we’d chase the sun
And vow to touch the brightest star, before the day is done
Years went by, and life’s weights came to bear
But still, that star’s soft twinkle’s always there
A beacon in the night, a guiding light
That whispers secrets, of a celestial delight
Oh, star of wonder, you remain so bright
A symbol of hope, in the dark of night
Inspiring dreams, and a heart that’s true
To reach for the impossible, and make it anew
In your soft sparkle, I find my way
Through life’s turmoil, to a brighter day
So I’ll keep chasing, the magic of that star
And never let go, of the dreams that we are.
